The Nocturnal Adventures of Sir Coffee
SynopsisEditSandoval has an intimate moment with a French dessert. This is the last published comic with characters from Mistress's castle.
- "held together by toffee, torn apart by love"
- "caution: filling may be hot"
Croquembouche is a stack of cream-filled pastry balls.
The name "croquembouche" is a reference to the crunchy pastry exterior of the balls. Translated from French it literally means "Crunch in mouth".
Croquembouche was invented by Chef Marie-Antoine Carême in the early 19th century, making the dessert somewhat anachronistic for the medievally themed Oglaf world.
