SynopsisEditThe dwarves offer the ring of bliss, which makes you happy all the time, to a traveller. The traveller puts on the ring and experiences intense happiness, and then drops dead from the strain. The dwarves decide to bury the traveller with the best headstone ever.
- I don't think it's a metaphor for drugs. It's a fairly rubbish one if it is.

(In one interpretation of Tolkien's Lord of the Ring the ring is an allegory for addictive drugs)
