Rise of the Funsnake, is a three page Oglaf story featuring Morag the Immortal, Navaan, and the monks of the Temple of Luck. It is part of the Funpire/Funworm story arc and features the first full appearance of the Funworm.
(Continuing from Diversions) Navaan has recovered from fainting and the duty of blowing into Morag's neck is taken over by the monk deputized as her nurse. Morag recounts her surprise at meeting a parade costume in the arena. The fun cult agent reveals that the funworm is a real god disguised as a fake one. Navaan and the monks examine the box that fell off the agent earlier and discover it contains a fake death. Morag then recounts how she tried to slay the funworm, but her sword merely broke on the creature's head. She was then overcome by the funworm's hallucinogenic pheromones and wandered into the creature's jaws where her body was consumed. The fun cult agent boasts that the funworm is impervious to normal weapons.
