SynopsisEditGreir the bounty hunter climbs in through the Snow Queen's bedroom window. The two strip off their clothes and kiss passionately, with the Snow Queen blushing, but clearly delighted.
As the two continue to make love, a yeti in the garden outside looks alarmed that snow is suddenly falling in the middle of summer. The worried Snowmen rush to the Snow Queen's bedroom to find out what has awoken her before winter. A disappointed Snow Queen assures them it was just a dream.
- "I'll come to thee by moonlight, though Helen should bar the way" (In Alfred Noyle's poem it is "... though hell ...")
- "Happy summer solstice to the southern hemisphere- northern, don't read this for six months" [The solstice occurs on about the 21st of December, 2 days after this comic was published.]
- "hibernation hair"
- At last! Some heterosexual porn.
Unlike the final panels of most Oglaf stories, the final panel of Solstice does not have its lower right corner cut off.
